CAEC Test Centre Policy

If you have any questions about the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) or our exam policy, please contact us.

  • Exam times are flexible and can be individually scheduled within our normal office hours.

 

  • Exams must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

 

  • To book and write the CAEC tests, you must create a candidate profile through the CAEC digital platform.

 

       Note: Payment is required before an access code can be given out.

 

  • Payment can be made directly to the Testing Centre in person by cash or cheque or by e-transfer to: admin@kals3hills.ca

 

  • Exam room:

    • Private - one test taker at a time

    • Staff supervised

    • Calculator, pencil/pen and scrap paper provided

    • Bags, phones, personal laptops/devices and jackets are not allowed in the room

    • No food in the exam room, but water/coffee/tea are allowed

    • No AI Glasses or devices of any kind allowed

 

  • Eligibility

    • Candidates may write any one subject test only once per calendar month, and a maximum of 3 times per calendar year. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have been out of school for 10 consecutive months to be eligible to write the CAEC in Alberta.
